Just yesterday Carl Johnson a 6'0 Point Guard from St. Thomas Moore (Conn.) signed a National Letter of Intent with Rider University. Johnson is originally from the Philadelphia area, where he played his high school career at Lower Merion (Pa). Johnson went to St. Thomas Moore this year in hopes of landing a Division 1 scholarships and it looks like it has happened for him. Johnson according to Allen Rubin of HoopScoop Johnson is a 5th Year Player, who can get to the basket, score or dish, plays good defense, and his shot has really improved. Rider is already deep at the point guard position with Sophomores Matt Griffin and Justin Robinson set to return next year. It looks like Johnson will add depth to this position and give the Broncs many options at the point.
