It did not take long for Earl Pettis to decide where he wanted to go after getting his release to transfer from Rutgers. Just day's after getting his release Pettis has decided to transfer to LaSalle and play in the Atlantic 10. There was a lot of speculation that Pettis would transfer to Rider because that is where is brother Robert Taylor played. In the end though, Pettis decided that LaSalle was the right fit for him. Pettis will join a LaSalle team that will be one of the most talented teams in the Atlantic 10 next season. However, NCAA rules stipulate Pettis must sit out next year and will be eligible to play the follwoing year. After sitting out Pettis will have two years of eligibility left.
