Arizona Adds Local Recruit

Sean Miller has not wasted any time since being named the Head Coach at the University of Arizona. Since taking over for Russ Pennel, Miller has added two top 100 recruits in the class of 2009. It also looks like Miller has added a third player to that list this weekend. Kevin Parrom who formerly attended St. Raymonds in the Bronx (NY), but this year attended South Kent Prep in Connecticut is the latest to give Coach Miller a pledge to play for him on the West Coast. Parrom originally signed with Xavier but got out of his Letter of Intent when Miller made the move to Arizona. After visiting this weekend Parrom made his decision and has chosen to play in the Pac-10 for the Wildcats. Parrom joins Kyryl Natyazhko and Solomon Hill – two other Top 100 kids as those who will be in Tucson this season. Parrom is a 6'6 forward who should be able to contribute right away for the Wildcats, especially after Jordan Hill and Chase Budinger have decided to enter the NBA Draft.
